FAQs
The main pages describe the farm clearly. These answers cover practical details. If something remains unclear—or you have a special requirement—send us a message and we will respond thoughtfully.
What is PushkarOrganic?
A private organic farm in Pushkar with rooms, food, a serious pool, gardens, animals, and quiet. Not a standard hotel or party resort.
How is it different from other hotels?
Most hotels are built around town access or tourist convenience. PushkarOrganic is built around the farm: food, trees, water, animals, rooms, and quiet.
Who is this right for?
People who want quiet, food, design, nature, rest, work, or time away. Also people who like being left alone.
Who should not book?
Do not book if you want a conventional five-star hotel, loud music, parties, outside visitors, or full control over everything. The boundaries protect the experience.
Why are the rules strict?
The rules protect the peace of the farm and help make sure every guest is the right fit. If you strongly believe this is the right place for you, contact us and tell us why. Rules are not a substitute for judgment; we make thoughtful exceptions when appropriate and genuinely required.
What does it cost?
What if I can't afford it?
If you genuinely believe you are a good fit, send us a brief message. Tell us what you hope to learn, how you would use your time here, and how your presence might improve the farm. Volunteer arrangements depend on current needs and are considered individually.
What is included, and what is extra?
Your room and pool access are included. Meals, extra beds, transport, yoga, massage, special setups, retreats, photo shoots, and anything else not named in the reservation are extra. Your reservation message is the final record of inclusions.
What is the food situation?
Food is planned, fresh, and farm-led — not an all-day restaurant. Breakfast is 8–10am, lunch 1–2pm, dinner 6–8pm. Tell us meal needs before arrival.
Where are you, and how do I get there?
PushkarOrganic is outside busy Pushkar. Ajmer is the nearest major railway station; Jaipur is the airport most guests use. We send arrival instructions after booking and can discuss drivers or pickups, subject to confirmed availability and price. See the map on our Contact page.
What should I know before coming?
Check-in is from 1pm; checkout is by 11am. No smoking in rooms and quiet after 9pm. Children and pets are not allowed, though you may request a discretionary waiver. Animals, insects, dust, heat, rural roads, and occasional power changes are part of a working farm.
How does booking work?
Send your dates, guest count, room preference, food needs, and anything important. We reply with availability and rate.
Can you help with travel?
Sometimes. Ask about Jaipur airport transfers, Ajmer pickup, local taxis, and Pushkar Fair logistics before arrival. We will confirm availability and price before you travel.
Is it ever noisy?
On certain days, yes. India has plenty of weddings, public events, and celebrations, and these are typically noisy — Pushkar is no exception. Ask us about the dates around your stay before booking if this matters to you.
